The Gush Etzion Winery is located in the heart of Gush Etzion, surrounded by vineyards reminiscent of the landscapes of Bordeaux and Provence—now also a signature scene in Gush Etzion. At the winery, as in any winery, the heart of the activity takes place in the production wing. From grape reception, crushing, fermentation, pressing, aging—these fascinating processes transform grapes into wine, eventually filling bottles and glasses. In addition, the winery hosts a visitor center, offering an equally captivating experience. As the winery adheres to strict kosher standards, visitors do not come into direct contact with the wine production process. Halachic requirements dictate that only authorized personnel may handle the wine containers and barrels before the bottles are sealed with corks. To allow all visitors to witness the wine-making process, a metal bridge was constructed from the visitor center, providing an observation point over the entire production process. This experience engages all the senses: - **Sense of smell**: Visitors can’t ignore the aromas of yeast, fermentation, and later, the scents of wine aging in barrels. - **Sense of sight**: From the observation point, visitors can view all stages of wine production, gaining insight into the intricate process. After the bridge, visitors move on to our wine tasting gallery—an elegant glass-walled room with a parquet floor, overlooking the winery's barrel room. At the center of the gallery stands a grand knights’ table, where visitors are invited to enjoy tastings from our wide selection of wines. Here, the sense of taste joins the sensory journey, completing a memorable visit.
