  • The Classic Gush Etzion Route takes you along the Path of the Patriarchs, to a Roman milestone, a Second Temple–era mikveh, and enchanting springs where you can also dip – a route that combines history, landscapes, and nature immersion.
  • The Judean Desert Route opens the gateway to another world – with stops at a Bedouin tent, panoramic views toward the Dead Sea, biblical landscapes, and a sense of endless horizons.
  • The Burma Road Route traverses the Judean Hills and nearby forests, along the historic 1948 path, including a visit to the Latrun Museum and a challenging trail with panoramic views from Mitzpe Harel.
  • The Springs Route offers a refreshing natural experience – visiting Ein Maslula, Ein Dovik, Ein Shilo, and Ein Sajma. Cool pools, shaded seating areas, and rich guiding about the environment, history, and nature of the region.

The combined route - about two hours

The tour begins in the ReGush settlement, where we will drive along Derech HaAvot, the historic route that connected ancient cities to Jerusalem. The path passes through breathtaking landscapes, with green vineyards, offering an experience of wild nature alongside historical sites.

We will continue with a magnificent view of biblical Beitar, a city mentioned in the Bible, and pass through the vineyards of the Gush Etzion Winery. Next, we will stop at a special location with stunning rock formations, where we can relax, rest, and unwind.

To complete the experience, we will visit the Ein Massala spring, which was renovated by special education youth from the Gush Etzion workshop, where you can dip and refresh yourself in the cool spring waters – a true experience of nature and purity.

Through the Vineyards - About an hour and a half

Join a magical journey in Gush Etzion inspired by the blessing of the Tribe of Judah: “He ties his donkey to the vine… he washes his garments in wine.” This tour combines nature, history, and ancient Jewish agriculture, taking you through breathtaking vineyards and along the historic *Derech HaAvot*.

Along the route, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views, learn about ancient Jewish vine-growing techniques, and visit the Gush Etzion Winery. Spring Trip

The route begins in Gush Etzion, the agreed-upon meeting point. The first stop is Ein Masla, a natural and clean spring where you can enjoy a refreshing dip. The spring is surrounded by stunning scenery and offers a pleasant spot for a short rest. Next, we proceed to Ein Duvik, a beautiful spring surrounded by lush greenery.

The cool waters of the pool are inviting for a swim. There is a shaded seating area for a picnic, and a brief explanation of the site's history is provided. The following stop is Ein Shalu, a natural and tranquil pool offering clear and clean water for swimming and relaxation. The spring is surrounded by unique desert scenery and provides a wonderful experience for rest and sightseeing.

The final stop on the route is Ein Sagma, one of the popular springs in Gush Etzion. The spring features a large and spacious pool with cool and pleasant water. Here, you can spend more time relaxing and enjoying the water and the breathtaking view of the area. This route offers an unforgettable experience in the wild and beautiful landscape of Gush Etzion, combining a scenic off-road journey with bathing in natural springs.

The guidance throughout the route includes fascinating stories about the area, its history, and its unique nature.

Notes: The route is suitable for families, groups, and individuals. It is recommended to bring water, hats, and appropriate swimwear. The duration of the route is approximately 4 hours. There is an option to adjust the route according to special needs or group requirements.

Burma Road - About two hours

**The Tour Begins at the Latrun Center**, where visitors can explore the Armored Corps Museum and view historic military vehicles from various wars. After about a kilometer of driving, we’ll reach a steep ascent that leads us to the famous Burma Road.

This section is relatively challenging and requires precise and careful driving. As we continue along Burma Road, we’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Judean Hills and KKL forests. Along the way, you’ll spot remnants of the original dirt roads and historic settlements from the pre-state period.

The tour concludes at Mitzpe Harel, named after the Harel Brigade of the Palmach, which fought fierce battles in the area. At the lookout point, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the entire region and take a short break to refresh.

Route in the Judean Desert 3-4 hours

Tour Route from Gush Etzion to the Judean Desert Embark on an exciting journey from Gush Etzion toward the Judean Desert.
